From Sunday's Sermon:
Hebrews 8:1 - "Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven." And because this is true we have GREAT PRIVILEGES! We are redeemed, protected and provided for.
We also have GREAT RESPONSIBILITIES, for we are now a "royal priesthood" (1 Peter 2:9). We are to serve as ambassadors to the King (2 Corinthians 5:20), declaring to men the message of God and we are priests, interceding to God on behalf of men.
