Let us give thanks for the many acts of kindness that are being demonstrated every day during our current trial. Matthew 25:40 reminds us that "as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." Daily at the church we hear about ways in which neighbor is loving neighbor. Some of it is organized, like our recent delivery of Easter Dinner to 200 in our community. But lots of it is simply organic, someone who has been loved by Christ, and is changed that they are compelled to love others. This is not done under compulsion. In fact, on that day, these acts of love will not even be remembered, for they were done naturally! We praise God today for the ways in which He is loving us and our neighbors well through one another, and in the strength that His great love for us provides. Thank you, Lord!
