Today we give thanks to God that His rule and reign is the same as it was during the presidency before, and during the one before that, and the one before that ... in fact, it has never changed regardless of who is leading our nation. We may be elated at the current events - We may be greatly disappointed - But let us give thanks that we live in a nation where transitions of power have been largely peaceful. May God continue to grant us this rich blessing. For in many parts of our world over all of history such transitions have often been accompanied with bloodshed and tremendous suffering.
