Let's give thanks today for those who maintain our roads. Yep, you heard that right. It may not always get done on our preferred timetable. But driving around SW PA in the Spring always brings to mind how helpful their work is to all of us. As winter ends and we learn to navigate our everyday routes to and from work while dodging this season's potholes, there are those who are tasked with trying to repair all of the winter's damage. It reminds us of how dependent we are upon the work of others in our community ... work that more often than not I complain about vs. give thanks for. Is there a job around town that you are thankful that someone else has to do it? Give thanks for them today. And if you have the opportunity even let them know you are grateful.
