Today let us give thanks for the changing of seasons. Fall is upon us and soon the colors will change, birds head south, days shorten, crops are brought into the barns, wardrobes are switched out, pumpkin spice starts showing up everywhere, etc. For some, this is a favorite time of year, for others not quite so. BUT it is a reminder that God rules His creation with faithfulness. We often take it for granted that He does. The sun rises ... everyday. The patterns and predictability of nature are works of His great and gracious design. Fall may not be your favorite season. But stop today and thank the Lord that He has created a world of beauty and order. The good news is that even if you don't like Fall (or Winter), there is a very good possibility that Spring and Summer will come again ... He is faithful.
