We continue our Lenten Series: Why Did Jesus Come If It Meant a Cross? Our message is from Mark 10:35-35 and entitled, "He Came to Give His Life as A Ransom for Many"
Pride is a root sin - All other sins feed it and grow out of it. Pride is subtle and sinister. It sneaks itself onto the throne of life and say, “I am the most important, I know best, I deserve more.” Jesus is the most important. Jesus does know best. Jesus deserves everything. Yet He GAVE His life for prideful people like us. There is a lesson in this passage for us all.
