Sunday's Sermon continues our series: ACTS: Be My Witnesses with a sermon from Acts 1:6-11 entitled, " Man’s Plans and God’s Purposes"
‘You can’t see the forest for the trees.’ Have you ever heard this phrase? It means to be so lost in the details (the trees) that you cannot see the bigger and more important issues (the forest). The disciples were distracted by their false expectations about the kingdom, while they should have been firmly committed to their high and holy calling of being witnesses to the King.
