Grace & Truth
Truth without grace is simply judgment, and grace without truth is simply deception. ~ Henry Cloud
It was this combination that made Jesus so winsome and compelling. We, the church, desperately need to regain this dynamic today. Too often we only confront the world with a caustic and even abusive spirit (Truth only) or we water things down in the hopes of goodwill (Grace only). Neither will engage a post-Christian world at the point of its deepest need.
