Most people are aware of the most well-known verse in the Bible - John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." While it is true that God loves the world, what many people struggle with today is if God loves them. Many affirm that God loves the world and sent His Son to live and to die for sinners. But saying, "For God so loved ME, that He gave His only Son" now that's a much more personal, powerful, and life-changing statement.
