OUR PASTORS

MIKE DUNLAP

Pastor

Mike joined the staff of St. Paul's in 2009 as an Associate Pastor but has been involved with St. Paul's for 35 years. St. Paul's was an integral part of the Dunlaps' call to this area, and Mike has filled the pulpit many times over all those years. Mike loves to preach and teach, and St. Paul's has provided him a unique opportunity to do that while still giving oversight to the North Star Youth Outreach organization and staff. Mike believes he is privileged to serve the people of Somerset County and the people of St. Paul's. Mike was called as the pastor of St. Paul’s on May 31, 2024 and feels so blessed to serve the people he has loved for so long.

Outside of St. Paul's and the Outreach, Mike is all about being a husband to Muff, father to Abby and Brittany, grandfather to Connor, Caleb, Caylee, and Harper. He is passionate about hunting and does it every chance he gets. He is an avid sports enthusiast and loves exercising and reading.

Mike graduated from Westminster College with a BA degree in religion and has his Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

SCOTT STELTZER

 Associate Pastor

Scott joined the staff of St. Paul's in the fall of 2018. He and his wife, Anna, have been members of St. Paul’s since 1999. During that same period, Scott served locally as an associate director at Summer’s Best Two Weeks. He continues to be involved with the camp in a part-time capacity alongside serving as an associate pastor at the church. Anna and Scott have four children: Colton, Susie, Johnny, and Benjamin. Scott enjoys studying and learning as a means to better teach and pastor the hearts of others. He is eager to continue to grow alongside and serve the people of St. Paul’s.

Living in the Laurel Highlands has afforded Scott the privilege of pursuing his passion for the outdoors. He enjoys hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking, and rock climbing but most of all, Scott loves how God reveals himself through all that he has created (Romans 1:20). You can find his writing at thinkingoutdoors.org or on Instagram

Scott graduated from Grove City College with a BA degree in history and secondary education, has his Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and a Doctoral degree in educational ministries from Southern Seminary.
