Our purpose is to be the family of Jesus Christ, integrating faith and life wherever we go.

But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”

Mike Dunlap and Jon Ledyard will team lead a continuing study on Henry Blackaby's classic study "Experiencing God." Blackaby invites us into an intimacy with the Lord that informs and shapes every aspect of our lives. His invitation to us is very similar to Christ's call for his disciples to "come follow Him." You need not have been with us in the fall to join us for this study during the winter. We hope you might join us in the library as we revisit the adventure of letting the Lord lead us so we experience the joy of walking in Him.

Meets in the Sanctuary

The stories of 1 Samuel are legendary (think David & Goliath)! But underneath it all was the Israelite's idolatrous rejection of God as their King. Instead, the people sought an earthly king who they thought would establish the peaceful kingdom they so desired. As God's people we are still doing the same thing today, trying to build our own little earthly kingdoms, instead of seeking the true peace that comes through Christ our King and his reign over our lives. Join Doug Smethurst and Scott Steltzer in the MPR as we explore together what it means to submit to Christ as King.

Pastor Dane Ortlund reminds us in his book Gentle and Lowly that “The Christian life boils down to two steps: 1. Go to Jesus.  2. See #1.” Why don’t we go to Jesus as we know we should? Is it just because we’re too busy? Or is it a deeper issue of not seeing ourselves or, even him, rightly? Join us as we remind one another through this scripture/book study of Gentle and Lowly that “The cumulative testimony of the four Gospels is that when Jesus Christ sees the fallenness of the world all about him, his deepest impulse, his most natural instinct, is to move toward that sin and suffering, not away from it.” We invite you to consider His invitation to all of us in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him.
