Women's Ministry

St. Paul’s Women’s Ministry exists to disciple, encourage, and equip women of all ages and stages of life to deepen their relationship with Christ through Scripture, prayer, worship, fellowship, and service. All are welcome— whether you have been at St. Paul’s for decades or are just getting to know us.

“Encourage one another and build each other up…” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

“As you received Christ Jesus as Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

• Creating opportunities for women to gather    and grow in faith

• Women passionate about knowing Christ and making Him known to others

• Women finding connection with each other in friendship and fellowship

• Women increasingly spending time in individual and group prayer

• Women increasingly spending time in individual and group Bible study

• Women increasingly eager to participate in service, missions, and outreach opportunities

• Women devoted to one another as sisters in Christ, walking together through the seasons of life

Below you will find a summary of “Ongoing Opportunities,” “Recent Activities,” and “Upcoming Events.” Check out everything going on, and watch highlight videos of our events, as well as full-length videos of recent speakers. And we hope you will join us as we “Gather & Grow” together! Let us know if you have any questions or want to help us in Women’s Ministry! Lynda:

Celebrating 40 Years of Friday Morning Bible Study

Sunday Morning

8:00am sharp: Sanctuary

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to join us for a few minutes every Sunday in the front of the Sanctuary to pray for both services & all the other ministry activities happening, that they might be pleasing and obedient to our Lord.

Saturday Morning Prayer

 8:00-8:30am: Sanctuary

We hear a brief portion from God’s Word, mention a few prayer concerns and then pray.  Have questions?  Contact Sue Martin or one of the pastors.

For prayer requests please email Suzanne Shaffer or call/text her at 814-445-5341.

Prayer Shawl

See info above

Do you love to knit? Join our Prayer Shawl group as they thoughtfully knit shawls that are lovingly presented with prayer to individuals facing difficulties. These shawls become dear reminders of people who care enough to pray.

Good Friday

Join with others in an 8 hour unbroken vigil of prayer. Sign up for 15 minute segments of prayer and then come to the sanctuary for that appointed time to pray. This is a great way for people to grow in the discipline of extended prayer.
