Today, let us be thankful for people who pray for us.
Philippians 1:19 says, "for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance." Paul trusted in the help of the Spirit. But he also recognized that God's Spirit was often working in his life in conjunction with the prayers of God's people.
Be thankful for those who intercede for you before God's throne of grace. How human prayer and divine sovereignty work together, we will never fully know. But they do. So let us pray for others. And let us be especially grateful for those who pray for us.
